Marianne W. Young
Marianne has been with Market Street Trust since 1995, first as Vice President for Client Services where she was responsible for the management of client relationships for both individual and trust accounts, and then as President beginning in July, 1999. In addition to working with the Board of Directors on strategic issues, Marianne works with individuals and family groups to facilitate financial and estate planning.
Before joining Market Street Trust, Marianne practiced law at Harris, Beach & Wilcox, where she focused on corporate and banking law. She received a B.A. Degree from Mount Holyoke College and a M.S. Ed. from the University of Rochester. She also holds a J.D. Degree from Cornell Law School where she graduated Magna Cum Laude. Marianne was admitted to the New York State Bar in 1992 and is a member of the New York State Bar Association, Trusts and Estates Law Section. She served on the Family Office Exchange Advisory Board for many years. She is currently a Director of the Board of The Elmira Savings Bank where she serves on the Audit and Loan committees. Additionally, she serves as a Director of the Alternative School for Math and Science (a private middle school located in the Corning area). She is a past President of the Board of Trustees of the Rockwell Museum in Corning, New York and former director of the Finger Lakes Land Trust.
Michael R. Eisner, CFA
Senior Vice President & Chief Investment Officer
Mike is responsible for developing and communicating Market Street's investment program's strategies, policies and vehicles. He also has overall responsibilities for asset allocation and manager mix.
Mike is a holder of the right to use the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation and brings over twenty years' experience to Market Street. Prior to joining Market Street, Mike served as Vice President and Chief Investment Officer - Benefit Plan Investments for Avaya, where he had oversight of the corporation's $4.3 billion benefit plan trusts. He was responsible for all aspects of investment strategy and policy, investment manager selection and operation of the pension, savings and post-retirement health and life insurance trusts. Previously, Mike served as a Vice President at AT&T Investment Management Corporation, where he held various positions overseeing investments in equities, fixed income and alternative investments for both pension and savings plans.
Mike received a B.A. from Colgate University and an M.B.A. from New York University's Leonard N. Stern School of Business. He is also a member of the New York Society of Securities Analysts. Mike currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Food Bank of the Southern Tier. Mike also serves on the Investment Committee for the Community Foundation of Elmira-Corning and Finger Lakes, Inc., after previously serving as Treasurer, Chairman of the Investment Committee and Board Trustee.
Keith D. Horn JD, CPA
Vice President, Chief Operating Officer
Keith is responsible for the internal operations of the company and serves as Market Street’s Compliance Officer. Keith’s oversight includes tax, accounting, risk management and compliance functions, information systems, corporate financial reporting, and general office management.
Keith is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in both New York and Pennsylvania and a lawyer with over twenty years of experience in individual, trust, and partnership tax. Keith began his career at Deloitte and Touche (now Deloitte), where he was a Senior Tax Manager before becoming a partner at Alpern Rosenthal & Company (now BDO USA LLP) in Pittsburgh. For a period of time, Keith was responsible for the oversight of the tax and employee benefits departments at Adelphia Cable Communications Corporation and served as a tax consultant for a Pennsylvania law firm before joining Market Street in 2006.
Keith received his B.S.B.A. Accounting Degree from Bucknell University and a J.D. Degree from Dickinson School of Law and is admitted to the New York and Pennsylvania State Bars.
Rachel J. Sherman
Vice President, Client Service
Rachel is responsible for ensuring that each Market Street client has an excellent experience when it comes to their interactions with our wealth advisory professionals and integrated services. To that end, Rachel oversees the Client Service team in their work to provide holistic financial, tax, fiduciary, investment, estate planning, and other services to individuals and family groups. She acts as a primary relationship manager, helping private foundations and high-net-worth clients achieve their financial, philanthropic, and family legacy-related goals. Rachel also advises foundation trustees and directors in carrying out their fiduciary duties and strategic initiatives, while overseeing a team of professionals providing comprehensive foundation management services.
Prior to joining Market Street, Rachel practiced law in Boston at Goodwin Procter LLP and Nutter McClennen & Fish LLP. Rachel also gained experience as a law clerk to the Honorable F. Dennis Saylor, IV, of the federal district court in Massachusetts. Rachel received her B.S. from Cornell University, which included study at Oxford University. She also attended Harvard Law School and earned her J.D., graduating cum laude.
Rachel is on the board of the Community Foundation of Corning-Elmira and the Finger Lakes, and serves as a community grants panelist. She is also a member of the board of directors of the Family Service Society, Inc., which serves lower-income families’ mental health and physical needs, and a former director and secretary of The Triangle Fund, a private family foundation serving three upstate New York counties. As a frequent presenter and facilitator on matters of interest to families and family offices her focus has been on family legacy and communication, philanthropic initiatives, and next generation engagement. She is active in the New York Funders Alliance and is a past-president and board member of its predecessor, Grantmakers Forum of New York. Rachel is a member of the New York and Massachusetts bars, as well as the New York Bar Association.
