CORNING, NY, June 9, 2014 - Market Street Trust Company, a privately owned wealth management firm providing comprehensive financial and investment services for high-net worth families, announced today that Marianne Young, President and CEO, is the 2014 recipient of the Family Office Review Family Office Leader of the Year Award.
The Family Office Review Awards "celebrate the achievements of the people and companies who run and serve the family office community." Family Office Review is a publication that was founded in 2011 to serve a gap in the family office community for relevant, organized news and information.
"This award is a reflection on what Market Street as a whole has been able to accomplish," Young said. "We have a special shared family office culture here that places tremendous emphasis on client service. We have resolutely stayed on the path that was laid out years ago for Market Street but we have also progressed - naturally in ways that focus on serving clients better."
"Marianne has kept Market Street focused on its goals and has played a critical role in its continued success," said James Houghton, Chairman of Market Street's Board of Directors. "Under her watch, Market Street has grown steadily and responsibly while at the same time earning industry recognition for excellence, particularly in the area of exceptional client service. She has done a great job of marrying our strong historical culture with the need to keep innovating, and we look forward to much more, particularly with the opening of the our office in New York City."
Young was honored at the Family Office Review Awards dinner on June 5th in Chicago.
