William B. Petersen
Bill is the former Senior Vice President and Chief Investment Officer of the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation. He was responsible for overseeing the foundation's endowment, and during his tenure, the foundation's assets had grown from $1.17 billion to $1.7 billion.
Prior to joining the Sloan Foundation, Bill worked as an equity portfolio manager for J.P. Morgan Investment Management, as Managing Director of Equity Investment at Marinvest Inc., and as a Vice President at the Morgan Guaranty Trust Company of New York. He also currently serves as a director for the BWE Fund at Bessemer Trust and a Trustee of the Wenner-Gren Foundation.
Bill holds a B.S. in Business from the University of Colorado, and an M.B.A. in Marketing and Finance from Indiana University. He is also a Chartered Financial Analyst.
David W. Scudder
David serves as Chairman of the Aureus Asset Management, LLC, company. Prior to this he was Vice President of Trusts at Harvard Management Company and was also associated for thirty years with Wellington Management Co., L.L.P., as a partner and a portfolio manager. A 1957 graduate of Harvard College, David became a special advisor to Market Street Trust in 1999.
H. Whitney Wagner
Whit serves as President of Clear Brook Advisors, Inc., an independent, SEC registered investment advisor offering sophisticated investors objective advice regarding asset allocation and manager selection with particular insight and experience with illiquid and locked-up funds ("private investment partnerships") participating in a wide range of alternative investment strategies.
Prior to founding Clear Brook in 2001, Whit was a General Partner at Three Cities Research, Inc., a New York based private equity fund focused on change of control investments. During his time at Three Cities Research, Whit was involved in over 50 private investment transactions and was a general partner in the formation of three private equity funds. Whit began his business career in 1978 in the corporate banking department at Chemical Bank in New York. Whit has served as a Director of numerous public and private companies, is on the Advisory Boards of several private equity funds and is a Trustee of the Brown Bothers Harriman mutual funds. Whit attended St. Paul's School in Concord, NH and graduated with a BA in Political Science from the University of Vermont in 1978. He lives in Oldwick, New Jersey with his wife and three children.
